LCAA Club Plane Build

On Sunday, March 31st, the LCAA had a club plane building event. We built the FliteTest Simple Scout. A simple plane to build and easy plane to fly. We had sixteen people at the event, including a few youngsters building an RC airplane for the first time. What a great way to spend a rather windy Sunday. It will be fun to see al these planes in the air and look out for some competitions involving these planes at future club picnics.

A special shout out to Jim Salmon and Dave Eccleston for organizing this event, ordering all the parts and cutting the kits. The club would also like t thank Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve for the use of their training room.
